HOW DO I GET THERE!

How do I get to Colston Avenue, home of Carshalton Athletic?

Away Travel at the bottom of the page

To get here by Road From the M25 Take exit Number 8 on the A217 passing Lower Kingswood, Kingswood, Burgh Heath, Banstead, carry on until roundabout before sign to Sutton, go left still on the A217 keep going until you reach the Rose-Hill roundabout (about 2 miles), take the 4th exit into Wrythe Lane, continue for 1 to 1.5 miles turn right into Colston Avenue just before railway bridge. The ground is 100 to 150 yards on right down a small round which is only sign posted on the left hand side of the road so watch out as it can often be hard to find. The small private road leads to the stadium and car park

From London Pick up the A23 at the Elephant & Castle or the Oval. Carry on along the Brixton Road A23 through Brixton, up Brixton Hill A23 continues Streatham Hill A23, Streatham High Road A23, At traffic lights (junction St. Leonards Church) cross into Mitcham Lane A216 continue Streatham Road A216, bear left at traffic lights at Figgs Marsh, London Road A217, through Mitcham Bishopsford Road A217 until reaching the Rose Hill Roundabout. Take 1st exit into Wrythe Lane, continue for 1 to 1.5 miles turn right Colston Avenue just before railway bridge. The Nearest Train station is Carshalton which can be reached from Victoria or Sutton Train stations. As you come out the front of the train station turn right and head down a small hill and turn right and go under the railway bridge. Take the next road on the left (Colston Avenue) and head up about 100 to 150 yards up on the right down a small private road.

How to get to Ashford ground on Tuesday.


By Road

Directions from;

(a) M25.

Leave M25 at Junction 13, on to the A30 and follow the signs for London.

Remain on the A30 across the Crooked Billet Roundabout and continue until you reach a crossroads with Traffic Lights (Ashford Hospital on the left - Harvester pub on the right).

Continue straight across the crossroads and proceed along the A30.

Short Lane is the 3rd turning on the left, by a footbridge spanning the road.

Ashford Town F.C. is the second sportsground on the right, immediately past the Esso sportsground, and just before the first house on the right hand side of Short Lane.

(b) from Kingston area

Head towards Sunbury on the A308.

From Sunbury Cross, stay on the A308 towards Staines.

Turn right at the third crossroads into School Road (B378).

Go straight over a crossroads and proceed to a roundabout.

Go straight on at the roundabout into Clockhouse Lane.

At the other end of Clockhouse Lane there is another roundabout, turn first left and proceed towards Stanwell and Staines (A30).

Turn right into Short Lane by bearing left into the slip road by the footbridge and then turning back on yourself.





AWAY TRAVEL TO EGHAM TOWN

M25 j13, follow signs to Egham, left into the Avenue at roundabout with A30 and A308. Left at mini roundabout, over railway crossing, left into Pooley Green Road Road, right at roundabout. Tempest Road 2nd right. 30mins from Egham or Stains (BR)
