Latest news in: Graham Roberts has been voted this months Ryman div 1 manger of the month after he managed to get Carshalton Athletic to the top of the league. Well done Graham and we believe that this could be a regular occurance at the club this year.
Glasgow Rangers are injecting money into Carshalton Athletic football club.The real reason why this is happening is not certain to us but we believe that this could be a similar tactic to what other big name clubs are doing at the moment. A few months ago it was revealed that Tottenham Hotspur FC had invested in a team in Belgium so that they have first refusal on the up and coming players that could have potential to play for big clubs. This could be a could deal for Carshalton as it means that the club receives more money and is linked with a big name club. INJURY NEWS- John Hamsher is out for 12 weeks with a broken leg and should return this season and Bagoan Tagro is out for the rest of the season with damaged knee ligaments. We wish both players a speedy recovery. Byron Glasgow should be back playing soon as he has finished his physiotherapy and should be back training either this week or next week.

Game News!
Carshalton manged to salvage the three points they needed on Saturday to go top of the league once again. The game was all equal at 1-1 with Steve Darlington scoring for athletic but Scott Todd manged to get the late goal that takes carshalton to the top spot. The game on Saturday was probably the worst home performance of the season. But Carshalton showed Character and managed to achieve the 3 points. Up to the 59th minute nothing happened in the game and then Whyteleafe scored the opening goal. Then Graham Roberts brought on Tommy Williams, Wade Falana and Scott Todd. Wade set up the equaliser for Carshalton, the ball was fed through the defence on the right and Wade crossed the ball to the back post and Darlington scored the goal. Scott Todd was only on for 15 minutes but he made immediate effect on the right hand side. Scott made two runs down the wing just to find himself being brought to the ground just like he was at Chelmsford. The ref did play a lot of injury, which was to CarshaltonâÂâ„¢s advantage. Whyteleafe played a short ball back to the keeper and Scott Todd took chase after the ball. The Whyteleafe keeper kicked the ball only to hit Scott and then Scott ran to the ball to slot the ball into an empty net.
